چکیده

I. FORMALIZATION OF PHYSICAL LAYER NEIGHBORHOOD LIST EXCHANGE In our project, we introduce a cross layer approach to secure multi-path routing in wireless mobile ad-hoc networks. Neighborhood information is collected at the physical layer to facilitate the security estimation in higher layer. The protocol for physical layer neighborhood list exchange is described by specifying a program for each role involved in. The program executed by each entity performing each protocol role can not only indicate which actions occur in a run but also why they occur. This high-lever description is essential to formally analyzing security properties of the protocol. Involved in the physical layer neighborhood list exchange protocol are two roles, the central node and the neighbor nodes. Here, we try to formalize the neighborhood information collection process using PCL building blocks, which can provide insights on the protocol design. Basically, each central node (every node can assume the role of central node) in the network periodically sends out hello beacons conveying its presence. This enables nodes in their radio proximity to be aware of who their neighbors are. Presented below is rule for entity to send out HelloBeacon. These messages are sent out with nounce.

Design and evaluation of two scalable protocols for location management of mobile nodes in location based routing protocols in mobile Ad Hoc Networks

Heretofore several position-based routing protocols have been developed for mobile ad hoc networks. Many of these protocols assume that a location service is available which provides location information on the nodes in the network. Our solutions decrease location update without loss of query success rate or throughput and even increase those.Simulation results show that our methods are effectiv...

Intuitionistic fuzzy logic for adaptive energy efficient routing in mobile ad-hoc networks

In recent years, mobile ad-hoc networks have been used widely due to advances in wireless technology. These networks are formed in any environment that is needed without a fixed infrastructure or centralized management. Mobile ad-hoc networks have some characteristics and advantages such as wireless medium access, multi-hop routing, low cost development, dynamic topology and etc. In these netwo...

Improving Quality of Service Routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks Using OLSR

Mobile ad hoc networks (MANET) are constructed by mobile nodes without access point. Since MANET has certain constraints, including power shortages, an unstable wireless environment and node mobility, more power-efficient and reliable routing protocols are needed. The OLSR protocol is an optimization of the classical link state algorithm. OLSR introduces an interesting concept, the multipoint r...

Trust-based on-demand multipath routing in mobile ad hoc networks

A Mobile Ad hoc NETwork (MANET) is a self-organized system comprised of mobile wireless nodes with peer relationships. Due to multi-hop routing and absence of any trusted third party in open environment, MANETs are vulnerable to attacks by malicious nodes. In order to decrease the hazards from malicious nodes, we introduce the concept of trust to MANETs and build a simple trust model to evaluat...

A New Intrusion Detection System to deal with Black Hole Attacks in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

By extending wireless networks and because of their different nature, some attacks appear in these networks which did not exist in wired networks. Security is a serious challenge for actual implementation in wireless networks. Due to lack of the fixed infrastructure and also because of security holes in routing protocols in mobile ad hoc networks, these networks are not protected against attack...
